WHo we are
Thomas Kontinos, our Chief Operations Officer, began his career in law enforcement in 1979 as a Deputy Sheriff for Lee County, Florida. He later was assigned to a federal task force to investigate the murder of a DEA informant, which was dramatized in the TV series The FBI Files: Deadly Threat.
After he retired from law enforcement, he joined a Fort Myers law firm as an investigator, then founded eGuarded to help individuals and businesses of all sizes stay prepared and protected from threats of all kinds.
Thomas is a Florida licensed private investigator who also holds a Master’s in Information Systems Management, Summa Cum Laude, from Hodges University.

Chandra Spary-Kontinos, Chief Executive Officer, brings over 35 years in the printing, publishing, software, finance, and merchant service industries. She has built a team of professionals with 100+ years of security and banking experience to keep up with ever-changing trends in security technology.
She is also the chair of the Guarded Hearts/Card Systems Cares disaster relief fund, the First Data Advisory Board, a member of the Electronic Transaction Association, and a Dress for Success emeritus board member. Chandra proudly supports the Golisano Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Chandra is also the CEO of Card Systems, Inc., specializing in secure payments with business solutions to grow through automation and technology.
